I’m a sucker for a good Venn diagram. From the classic two overlapping circles, to more complex ones with multiple irregular polygons, Venn diagrams can cut through the complexity and present info in a simple way. I saw this one recently I couldn’t go past. It shows all the different types of small vehicles that use the roads in New Zealand, and how they are classified under our current laws.

I was surprised just how many there are. If any of you are wondering what a Velomobile is, it’s apparently this:

A Yike Bike is this:

And an Ogo is this:

And if you’re wondering where these are devices are legally allowed to operate (under current laws), here it is in another great Venn diagram.

Who knew that it’s legal to float along on your hoverboard down the road? I’ll definitely keep that in mind if I ever get one.
