I took a video of a bus attempting to use the Lincoln Rd bus lanes today.
It wasn’t the smoothest. The driver used it for about 50m before getting stuck behind someone’s car they’d inadvertantly left in the way, had to awkwardly push into the traffic lane to get around it, then went another 50 odd metres before encountering another car somebody else had left in the way. At this point the driver gave up completely and reverted to just sitting in the stationary traffic lane.
CCC should pay a tow company to be on-call to quickly respond to parked cars in bus lanes. The tow company could also charge the car owner a retrieval fee. It could be a pretty attractive contract for towing companies…

Agree. No bus lanes without enforcement.

camera in the bus that automatically sends this info to severely ticket the offenders. Easy and effective.
