Please be invited to the fourth public workshop on passenger rail and housing for Canterbury, to be held on Monday, 27 May 2019, 6.00 to 7.30pm at Tūranga (central library) in the Auaha Hīhī / Spark Space meeting room on the ground floor.
We will return to the ideas and maps we drew up in the first workshop. We’ll look closer at the options that arise from these, and evaluate each option against the objectives we’ve developed, keeping in mind everything we’ve heard and discussed over the last two workshops (summaries here and here). To help us with this, Glen will give us a brief talk about some of the differences between different types of mass transit e.g. buses versus trains.
Hopefully by the end of the workshop we’ll be starting to get a clear picture of what we think passenger rail in Canterbury should look like.
We hope to see you all there!
